Well, it's been a great day here at the Kellys. The UPS came late this afternoon bringing my order for the new Summer Issue of Folk Magazine. It was a surprise to Johnny when I wrapped one of the magazines and presented it to him with his sister, Sharon, watching. The surprise was that Folk Magazine had selected one of his stories to publish for this issue. Woodham Road Summers is a short story about growing up on a farm in Dothan, Al and how he and his sisters and cousins spent their summers. You'll have to buy one and read it for yourself. I will have a few copies at The Curious Cottage at Old South Antique Mall by tomorrow, and then Barnes and Noble should be carrying it in about a week. It is a beautiful magazine and it has gone national with this summer issue. You'll love it, I promise.
